About Us

Sunnycrest Elementary, home of the Roadrunners, is located in Kent’s West Hill & Midway neighborhood, and serves scholars in grades K-5. As a dual language school, half of our classes in every grade offer Spanish Dual Language.

Vision: At Sunnycrest, we provide a safe, compassionate, and inclusive learning community where every student, family, and educator feels valued, supported, and connected. Grounded in a love of learning, high expectations, and genuine care for one another, we foster a culture of belonging, collaboration, and shared responsibility. Through meaningful relationships, two-way communication, and the support each learner needs to thrive, we inspire curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset. Together we empower all to LEARN, BELIEVE, DREAM, and DARE to overcome challenges, achieve their full potential, and become confident, caring contributors to their communities and the world.
